Kickstarter!

Im Herbst kommt der Battletech Mercenary Kickstarter! Er kommt mit mehr als 50 neuen Minis, darunter nicht nur Mechs, sondern auch Panzer.

Firestarter, Griffin IIC, Ostroc und Kraken sind angekündigt. Bei den Panzern wird es Galleon Light Tank, SRM/LRM Carrier und Demolisher Heavy Tank und vermutlich noch mehr geben.

Was wissen wir sonst noch? Keine Ahnung. Aber es ist ein neuer Battletech Kickstarter und wo sonst kommen wir so zuverlässig an so viele Minis? Oh und … erinnert ihr euch an mein PayPal.me? Ich muss die Wagenladung an Minis schließlich irgendwie bezahlen, die ich ordern werde.

Redemption Rites

Jason Schmetzer bringt uns einen weiteren Wolf’s Dragoons Roman, der Ende April erscheinen soll. Gewusst haben wir das ja schon eine Weile, aber jetzt gibt es endlich mehr Infos und ein Cover. Und Ende April … das ist ja nun wirklich sehr bald.

In 3151 four-fifths of Wolf’s Dragoons listened to the honeyed words of Marotta Kerensky and followed Alaric Ward to Terra. There, they helped him destroy the Republic of the Sphere and establish the ilClan. Most of them died doing it. The remainder are injured, shell-shocked—and, finally, insulted by Alaric Ward’s payment of thirty pieces of silver.

In one leering gesture, Alaric Ward did what no other enemy had ever done. He broke Wolf’s Dragoons. The decimated survivors were allowed to limp off of Terra to rendezvous with their remnant who never set foot on the birthworld.

The emergency rendezvous is Savannah, in the Free Worlds League. Two striker battalions, the Tarantulas and the Wolfsbane, were the only Dragoons spared the debacle on Terra. Colonel Hack Kincaid, senior striker officer, is waiting when the Dragoons convoy appears. The DropShips are full of wrecked machines, but their personnel berths are empty.

Kincaid is a man of reputation in the Dragoons. His word carries weight. And he hasn’t been tarnished by Terra. Three regiments and one of his irreplaceable striker battalions have been ground to dust. His people are mourning, defeated, and rudderless. They look to him for leadership, for answers. They need a purpose.

Kincaid’s purpose is revenge.

Der neunte Shrapnel-Band erscheint im Juni.

Standardmäßig am 15. Ich denke, dass das auch diesmal so sein wird. Diese Ausgabe höchstwahrscheinlich ohne eine Kurzgeschichte von mir. Aber hey, es ist ja nicht so, als hättet ihr zuletzt nicht genug von mir zu lesen bekommen und es wird sicher mehr geben und ich schreibe ja auch nicht nur Kurzgeschichten.

Der Roman von Bryan Young wird im Sommer erscheinen. Ein Cover gibt es nicht. Aber es ist Byran Young, das Buch wird also geil.

Timber Wolf (Mad Cat) TC

Die nächste Premium-Miniatur erscheint im Juni. Der Timber Wolf (Mad Cat) TC bringt uns die nächste Tukayyid Variante und wird, wie schon der Wolfhound IIC, von Monster Fight Club produziert. Da der Wolfhound sehr geil war und ich keine Beschwerden über die Qualität gehört habe, freue ich mich sehr. Der einzige Nachteil wird der Versand. Zuletzt war der internationale Versand im Catalyst Store ja die reinste Katastrophe.

Eridani Light Horse Hunter Lance

Das ELH Force Pack wird zu Beginn exklusiv bei Barnes & Nobles verfügbar sein. Aber der Deal ist zeitlich begrenzt, das Pack kommt also auch so in den Handel. Erscheinen soll es im Herbst.

Enthalten sein werden: Sagittaire, Banshee (neue Pose), Cyclops (neue Variante) und Thunderbolt (springend).

Hansen’s Roughriders Battle Lance

Das Force Pack wird im Herbst zu Beginn über Aliance Games Distribution verfügbar sein, aber eben im allgemeinen Handel. Später wird das Force Pack auch über andere Distributoren verfügbar sein.
